Meet Ann Cooper!

Meet Ann Cooper, our talented Director of Marketing and Communications and the creative force behind the lens. With a knack for creativity and a background in marketing, Ann seamlessly blends her passion for storytelling with family’s ties to the construction industry. She takes pride in not only showcasing RKA’s remarkable projects, but also fronting our community engagement initiatives.

How did you get into construction and why?

My husband worked in construction and my mom is a commercial interior designer so I have always been surrounded by this industry. I started my career in non-profit marketing and communications, but made the transition to do marketing for RKA!

What is the best part of your job?

Showcasing the amazing projects our team builds and being able to work with so many talented people in this industry. I also love leading our community engagement efforts, with a non-profit background it is so important to me that we give back to our local community.

What is the hardest part of your job?

Not enough time in the day! It’s a constant juggling act between meetings, jobsite visits, and desk time.

What is your dream job if you weren’t in construction?

Full time trap-shooting coach. I used to coach parttime, but it’s a demanding schedule. It’s such a fun and ever-growing sport!

Best way to spend a Saturday?

Spending the day with friends and family trying out a new local restaurant or just being outdoors.

If you could only listen to 5 artists/bands for the rest of your life, who would they be?

Earth Wind & Fire, Elvis, The Band Camino, Zach Bryan, and Taylor Swift (It’s hard to pick, I love a wide variety of music!)
