With the combined construction experience of more than 100 years, our team is dedicated to creating the best construction experience. Our staff has a wide range of expertise including LEED accredited professionals and includes a variety of backgrounds in building science, engineering, real estate, and design. Additionally, all of our operational staff is OSHA trained. Every member of the RKA team is passionate about construction science and improving through continuing education and cutting-edge industry practices.

What type of Pre-Construction services does RKA offer?

RKA Construction is a general contractor that offers a wide range of pre-construction services to our clients. These services include design development, estimating, scheduling, value engineering, and constructability analysis. During the pre-construction phase, RKA will work closely with each of our clients to identify the project’s goals and objectives, evaluate various construction methods and materials, and develop a detailed plan for the construction phase.

What is your process for managing budgets?

RKA manages budgets by utilizing a detailed cost-tracking and management system. This enables our team to closely monitor project expenses and ensure that the project remains on budget. This includes developing a detailed cost estimate during the pre-construction phase and having our project managers review and update the project costs throughout construction. This information is communicated to our clients on a routine basis to ensure there are no surprises when the project is completed.

How do you best manage a client’s schedule?

RKA manages schedules by utilizing a detailed project management system that enables our team to closely monitor progress and ensure that the project remains on schedule. This includes developing a detailed construction schedule during the pre-construction phase. Our team regularly reviews and updates the schedule throughout the construction phase in conjunction with our trade partners. We work closely with our trade partners to foster relationships utilizing lean construction techniques in order to optimize project efficiency.

Do you provide a warranty?

RKA Construction provides a comprehensive warranty for all of our projects, which includes a one-year material and workmanship warranty, as well as manufacturer warranties on installed materials. During the warranty period, RKA will work closely with you to provide routine check-ins to address any issues that arise and ensure that the project meets your expectations.
