Meet Caroline Berry, our amazing business accountant! Caroline’s journey into construction stemmed from her involvement with a construction ministry during college, where she discovered the profound impact of housing development on communities:
How did you get into construction and why?
I worked with a construction ministry all throughout college and then pursued a job working alongside residents to impact housing development in an under resourced neighborhood in Memphis. I really saw an impact in the way we take care of our community through housing and investing in where we live!
What is the best part of your job?
Working with a team that aims to provide the best service possible!
What is the hardest part of your job?
Managing quick turnarounds/deadlines on large projects.
What is your dream job if you weren’t in construction?
I would love to start a sustainable skin care company that uses recyclable materials and employs women from all over the world.
Best way to spend a Saturday?
Picking up a coffee at a local shop, hitting the cooper young farmers market, and going to brunch with friends!
If you could only listen to 5 artists/bands for the rest of your life, who would they be?
I’m a big podcast girl these days, but I would have to pick Lennon Stella, Valley, Taylor Swift, The Band Camino, and Ariana Grande
