Meet Doug McClelland, Superintendent!
How did you get into construction and why?
I come from a family of builders and my grandfather built Jim Walter homes. All of my uncles were carpenters electricians, plumbers and painters. I used to work for my uncle during the summer.
What is the best part of your job?
Working with great people to achieve results that everyone is happy with.
What is the hardest part of your job?
Working with trade partners who can’t make timely decisions.
What is your dream job if you weren’t in construction?
If I wasn’t working in construction, my dream job would be building guitars.
Best way to spend a Saturday?
Playing guitar!
