University of Memphis Campus School Administrative Office

When the University of Memphis Campus School decided to upgrade their administrative offices, they partnered with 4FDesign and RKA Construction to design a space that would accommodate their needs and enhance the front entry to the main school. As an active school, a detailed schedule had to be produced to quickly mobilize and be ready to open by the time students arrived back on campus in August.

The renovation consisted of demolishing and rebuilding the General Office, Conference Room, and Principal’s office to enhance finishes, as well as upgrading security provisions within the main lobby. This included replacing the old partitions with new glass and a safety film. We replaced the old carpet with a sturdier laminate, updated electrical to code, replaced ceiling tiles and updated the old wood paneling in the office to a more modern finish. Although this was a smaller project, it was an important job to our team because of the community impact this school has in our area. The RKA team was dedicated to creating the best environment for their faculty and students.
