Chickasaw Gardens Traditional Renovation
Times change, and so do your living spaces. If you’re building a new home, odds are you want a kitchen with enough space for cooking as a family and entertaining guests. However, in older homes, like this Chickasaw Garden project the formal dining space was so large it made the kitchen seem like an afterthought.
In order to avoid disrupting this busy family, we renovated this project room-by room. This including updates to the kitchen, breakfast nook, formal dining room, wet bar and living room.
To give the family more space we added a screened in porch, complete with a porch heaters, a herringbone IsoKern fireplace, and an outdoor kitchen.
Design work by Elizabeth Malmo made this renovated house into a home by using existing pieces and adding in fresh, fun colors and art to turn this traditional styling into the perfect home for this family!
