Chickasaw Gardens Renovation

This Chickasaw Gardens Garden Home in East Memphis was the perfect location for a homeowner looking to downsize. She loved the location, and the existing pool. With the help of architect David Anderson and designer Selena McAdams, our client was able to give this house a modern makeover.

To give this home new life, RKA completed a full interior renovation. The kitchen received a full remodel with custom cabinetry completed by HS Carpentry, and an existing butler’s pantry was made full-service by adding in a sink, oven and dishwasher. Throughout the rest of the home, renovations included a sitting room with a wet bar, new paneling in the master bedroom, and an updated master bathroom which features a concrete bathtub.

On the exterior, the pool received an expanded pool deck, and the existing deck was replaced with FireRock pavers.

Design work by Selena McAdams made this renovated house into a home by using existing pieces and adding in fresh colors and art to turn this traditional styling into an inspired place to be!
