How did you get into construction and why?
I owned a sawmill and logging company. During wet times I did construction projects on the side. In 2003, I closed the lumber company and went into construction full time. I have been a general contractor since then.
What is the best part of your job?
Seeing peoples ideas and dreams for their home come to life.
What is the hardest part of your job?
Keeping all of the sub-contractors on task and on schedule.
What is your dream job if you weren’t in construction?
I love to smoke bbq. I have always wanted to try my hand at a restaurant.
Best way to spend a Saturday?
Attending an Ole Miss football game, snow skiing, or a day on the lake in my boat.
